Al Seed
Al is a performer, director, writer and teacher. He specialises in the creation of thrillingly dark visual / physical theatre – often incorporating strong dance elements – but is also very experienced in working with text.
He has a long history of creating solo shows for international touring but also produces and directs larger scale work, and frequently guest directs for theatre, dance and circus companies. His shows have won Fringe First, Herald Angel and Total theatre Awards.
He increasingly enjoys opportunities to write / storyboard visual work for production by partner companies. He continues to teach in a variety of contexts, and with an increasing emphasis upon the mentorship of emergent artists and performance groups. Al’s work is regularly supported by producing partners, Feral.
